  1. INTRODUCTION
    Smart GPS Camera (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how location information, camera access, and device data are handled when you use the Smart GPS Camera application.
  2. INFORMATION ACCESS & PERMISSIONS
    To provide core geotagging and photo timestamping functionality, the App requests the following permissions:

• Precise Location (GPS & Network): The App accesses your precise GPS coordinates (latitude, longitude, altitude, and bearing) solely to render live location overlays and stamp metadata onto photos and videos captured within the app. Location data is processed locally on your device.
• Camera Access: Required to capture photos and record videos with real-time stamp templates.
• Microphone Access: Required to record audio during video capture.
• Storage / Media Library Access: Required to save stamped media files to your device’s local gallery (Pictures/SmartGPSCamera) and to allow uploading custom watermark images.

  1. LOCAL DATA STORAGE & PRIVACY
    • All photos, videos, location coordinates, custom notes, and watermark images remain stored locally on your device.
    • We DO NOT collect, transmit, upload, sell, or store your photos, videos, or location data on external servers or cloud services.
    • Your captured media remains completely private and under your sole control.
  2. THIRD-PARTY MAP TILES
    The App fetches static map tiles directly from open tile providers (CartoDB / OpenStreetMap) solely to display map location badges on photos. No personally identifiable information or user account credentials are shared during tile requests.
  3. DATA DELETION
    You can permanently delete any captured photo, video, or custom watermark image directly within the App’s built-in Gallery or through your device’s file manager at any time.
  4. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
    We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app settings.
